Hear
The Journey is presented by everyday people — not professionals — who share honest testimony about what it actually looks like to follow Jesus on a Tuesday.
A weekend of renewal · South Central Kentucky
The Journey is a 36–72 hour retreat where you'll hear honest testimony, worship alongside strangers who become friends, and go home carrying something you didn't arrive with.
Encounter Jesus. Deepen Faith. Build Community. Live Transformed.
What is The Journey?
Over 36 to 72 hours, you'll step out of the noise and into a space built for encounter. Testimony from clergy and everyday people. Worship. Long meals and longer conversations. Quiet enough to hear yourself think, and to hear God.
You don't need theological training. You don't need to have it together. You don't even need to be sure what you believe. You just need to come.
Three movements
The Journey is presented by everyday people — not professionals — who share honest testimony about what it actually looks like to follow Jesus on a Tuesday.
Journey weekends are full of opportunities to worship God together — in a room where nobody is performing and everyone is welcome to sing badly.
The weekend ends, but it's built for what comes after. You'll leave equipped for the ordinary life you're going back to — and not alone in it.
Since 2020
Who it's for
Ages 19 and up
For the tired, the searching, the faithful, and the folks who haven't darkened a church door in a decade.
Ages 14 – 18
A weekend where teenagers get to ask the real questions out loud, without anyone flinching.
Everyone, always
The weekend is the beginning, not the end. We keep meeting, keep worshiping, keep showing up.
In their words
I had walked away from my faith years ago. That weekend, I came back home.
Journey participant
I thought this would be like every other retreat. Boy, was I wrong.
Journey participant
I arrived carrying more than I knew. I left lighter than I've felt in years.
Journey participant
I came looking for rest. I left with the courage to tell people what God has done.

Someone gave you this link
Most people come because a friend, a family member, a pastor, or somebody in the next pew thought of them. If that's you — someone saw something worth inviting.
This page will answer your questions honestly, tell you exactly what the weekend costs and contains, and help you decide.
Supporting our ministry
A Journey weekend costs about $80 per participant — and scholarships cover anyone who can't pay it. Your generosity is what makes that promise possible.
